Approval Process

Before your application can be considered by the Board we will need the following from you:

  1. Agree to our “No Solicitation Policy“.
  2. Agree to our “Statement of Faith“.
  3. Agree to our “Foundational Principles“.
  4. Apply and Pay: Find your chosen Membership Level above and click the corresponding ‘Apply‘ button.
  5. Your application will then be considered at the next meeting of our Board of Directors.

Signing the Agreements

There are two ways to submit your signed agreements:

  1. Click “Begin the Application Process Now” below to electronically read and agree to each Policy and Statements. Enter your name and email, then click “Submit“.
  2. Download, print, and sign the PDF form found here: Statement of Faith and Foundational Principles. Scan or take a picture of the signed form and email to Michelle[at]SDChristianChamber.com. Or return the signed copy in-person at the next event.

No Solicitation Policy

The San Diego Christian Chamber of Commerce prohibits uninvited mass solicitation, spamming or unauthorized marketing campaigns. Member contact information, directories, and Chamber platforms are provided solely for networking and relationship-building and may not be used for unauthorized promotions. Business solicitations between members are permitted only when there is mutual agreement, and all members are expected to respect the preferences of others. Violations of this policy may result in corrective action, up to and including termination of membership. We welcome genuine inquiries, but unsolicited marketing messages are not permitted.

Statement of Faith

  • We believe the Bible is the divinely inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God.
  • We believe there is one true God – eternally self-existent in three persons (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) – who is the Creator, Ruler, and Sustainer of the universe.
  • We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life on Earth, His miracles, His crucifixion on the cross as atonement for sinful man, His resurrection, His ascension to heaven to sit at the right hand of the Father, and His Second Coming.
  • We believe salvation is by grace, through faith, in Jesus Christ alone and that eternal life is only found through Him.
  • We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit as the indwelling presence of God, who empowers the Christian for fruitful service and to live a godly life.
  • We believe members of the body of Christ are called to partner with one another in the Spirit of unity and with God to be a testimony of the Lord Jesus Christ to others.
  • We believe in resurrection of the dead and the two judgments – one for believers (Judgment Seat of Christ) and another for unbelievers (Great White Throne Judgment) – at the Second Coming of Christ.

Foundational Principles

In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between businesses, these Foundational Principles shall govern. These Principles are intended to focus each business and its employees on areas of ethics, provide guidance to help them recognize and deal with ethical issues, help them avoid unethical conduct and help foster honest and ethical conduct.

  • Trust in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior (John 14:6); seek Godly Wisdom in partnership with the Holy Spirit (Proverbs 9:1, Colossians 1:9-10); and present our businesses to God as an act of worship both in Spirit and in Truth (John 4:24).
  • Kingdom Commerce – We proclaim Jesus as Lord through all that we do in all activities and business interactions (Romans 10:9-10).
  • Resilience – We serve as a forum for meeting together, discussing the challenges and triumphs of being a Christian in the marketplace (Hebrews 10:24-25).
  • Ethics – We serve others with excellence in all we do (Matthew 5:14).
  • Community – We value unity and foster an environment of community according to biblical standards (1 Corinthians 12:27).
  • Kingdom Leadership – We encourage Christian business owners to view business ownership as a ministry and use their unique gifts to serve others and God (1 Peter 4:10).
  • Legacy – We pray and encourage others to build a meaningful personal relationship with Jesus Christ. (John 15:5).
  • Marketplace Ministry – We dedicate our lives and businesses to serve God and reach people for Christ through discipleship in the marketplace (Matthew 4:19).

Members of the San Diego Christian Chamber of Commerce are committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity, promoting ethical business practices and glorifying God through our professional conduct. Therefore, each business owner applying to join, agrees that in business operations, in dealing with fellow members of the San Diego Christian Chamber of Commerce, as well as with all customers, they will adhere to these Foundational Principles.
