Hi! I’m Victoria Donahue, the blessed owner of Sticky Fingers Cooking® here in San Diego. I’m thrilled to be bringing our “cooking school without walls” directly to you, offering mobile cooking classes all the way from South County to North County! Before launching Sticky Fingers Cooking San Diego, I spent 15 years as a public school teacher and administrator. Education, working with kids, and community service have always been my greatest passions. On a personal note, I’m also a mother to two teenage daughters. Over the years, some of our favorite memories are preparing a “fancy feast” together and dining al fresco! I’ve seen firsthand the incredible, confidence-boosting impact that culinary skills have played out in their lives, and it inspired me to bring that same empowerment to children across our community. When I discovered Sticky Fingers Cooking®, I knew it was the perfect blend of my background and values. It beautifully combines education and fun while fostering hands-on creativity. Our mission to Cultivate ‘Cool’inary Curiosity in Kids® is something I am genuinely thrilled to lead. I am deeply committed to supporting local schools, promoting healthy eating, and nurturing young minds through high-quality, enriching experiences. I absolutely love teaching children to cook because it builds tangible life skills, and it is incredibly rewarding to watch their excitement as they discover new flavors and techniques. Our goal is to make cooking fun, accessible, and community-centered. At Sticky Fingers Cooking San Diego we have a strong team of chef instructors who genuinely enjoy inspiring young minds. They’re excited to cook up fun and delicious memories with your children because it’s Thyme to Turnip the Beet on What Kids Eat®! Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or if you’re interested in having Sticky Fingers Cooking® at your school, camp, or community event.
