This past Thursday morning saw a full house to kickoff SD Christian Chamber’s inaugural Monthly Breakfast and Speaker Series event for 2026. The energy was buzzing throughout the space!
After a generous time of fellowship, reconnecting, and networking, everyone gathered in the Legacy Center’s ballroom for breakfast and inspiration.
Opening remarks were handled by event emcee and Chamber CEO, Eve Nasby. She introduced Vista Mayor John Franklin who is also running for a County Supervisor seat this year. Mayor Franklin led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance and prayer.
Next up, the newest members of the Chamber were introduced, with our 100th member – Dan Carraza of Accelerate Growth Partners – highlighted with a short burst of celebration.

Members of the event sponsor, Neighborhood National Bank, were then recognized and given a round of applause in a show of appreciation. President & Chief Executive Officer & Director, Scott Andrews gave a short summary presentation of the company.
Keynote speaker, author and podcaster Jeff Blanton, then took the floor. He did not disappoint!
The ‘Jailbreak Leadership’ author focused on breakthrough through collaboration, turning the session into an interactive workshop for attendees. Not only did this facilitate meaningful discussion among entrepreneurs and businesspeople at each table, but some were able to present and find solutions to barriers from the collective group!
The event favorite raffle awards closed the first breakfast session of 2026 in a familiar and festive tradition.
