I help successful professionals, business owners and retirees make thoughtful decisions when money and life become complicated.

Born and raised in San Diego, I am a first-generation American, which shaped how seriously I take responsibility, trust, and stewardship. Many of my clients already had financial advisors. What they wanted was someone to connect the dots, coordinate decisions and provide clarity when life changed.

My approach centers on what I call return on life planning. I have learned that financial decisions are rarely just about money. They are about families, relationships and the people affected by the choices we make today. That is why my work focuses on helping clients create continuity through life’s transitions.

This belief was shaped by life experience. During the Great Recession, while working in a retirement community, I watched retirees lose the security they thought was permanent. At the same time, I watched my father lose the business he had spent years building.

Years later, during the COVID pandemic, my family experienced the sudden loss of my father-in-law. I was helping care for my mother, a responsibility I carried for many years before, during and after hospice.

Those experiences taught me that major life events rarely affect one person alone. They ripple through families, finances, and futures. Planning cannot prevent every challenge, but it can help families prepare, reduce the burden on the people they love and make decisions with greater clarity and confidence.

Today, I help clients prepare for life’s important transitions and navigate them when they come. Working with CPAs, attorneys, and other professionals, I help families stay organized, make thoughtful decisions, and keep their financial lives aligned with what matters most.

Outside the office, I serve as vice president of the board of Toward Maximum Independence, a nonprofit that helps individuals build greater independence and opportunity in their communities. My wife, Ashley, our son, Alex, and our dog, Rocky, remind me daily that financial decisions are ultimately about people.

My senior branch office administrator, Krissy, helps create the thoughtful experience our clients deserve.

If you’re looking for a trusted financial advisor to help you prepare for life’s financial decisions, I would welcome the opportunity to learn your story.
