About Cleta Riojas
Cleta Riojas, a native of Oceanside, California, is a visionary educator, entrepreneur, and pastor’s wife, devoted to faith-based education and community transformation. She holds a B.A. from California State University San Marcos and an M.A. in Strategic Communications from National University—credentials that have fueled her dynamic career in media, business, education, and ministry.
Cleta is the co-founder of At The Cross Oceanside Church, a vibrant non-denominational ministry known for its bold biblical teaching and local outreach. She also founded Bistro at the Pier, a beloved beachfront coffee shop recognized for its Italian-roasted coffee and community-centered atmosphere. In addition, she established Freedom Generation Higher Education, a Christ-centered learning center that equips students with biblical truth, entrepreneurial thinking, and real-world skills.
As a devoted mother of two daughters and a long-time advocate for Christian education, she continues to inspire the next generation to lead with integrity, wisdom, and unshakable faith.
